Stian Larsen, PhD is assisting head of education at AFPT and holds a PhD in exercise science, specializing in musculoskeletal modeling and biomechanics during the barbell back squat. He has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed scientific papers and he is especially interested in how exercise selection can influence muscle hypertrophy. In addition to his academic expertise, Stian has extensive hands-on experience coaching athletes with goals related to muscle hypertrophy and strength development. He is a dedicated educator and plays a key role in shaping AFPT's evidence-based curriculum.
Hans Kristian Stadheim, PhD, is an exercise physiologist and endurance coach with a doctoral degree focused on the effects of caffeine on performance in endurance athletes. He currently coaches Team Aker Dæhlie, one of Norway's top professional cross-country skiing teams.
